Myron Angstman was born in Princeton, Minnesota, and raised on a farm near there. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota where he earned his law degree as well. He moved with his wife Sue to Bethel, Alaska in 1974. Myron worked as a Public Defender in Bethel, before opening his private practice in 1977.
